There has recently been a lot of chatter regarding VEVRAA/JVA mandatory job listing requirements. While many OFCCP requirements are complex, the mandatory job listing requirements are actually very simple. OFCCP clearly provides 2 choices for employers to meet these requirements (1) Listing with the state workforce agency job bank (website) or (2) listing with the “local employment service delivery system”. This includes the US Department of Labor’s network of “One Stop” offices, the local workforce agency office, local career center office, etc… Of course you must provide reporting and verification that listings have been sent appropriately. The following are links directly from the OFCCP website detailing the job listing requirements: http://www.dol.gov/ofccp/regs/compliance/faqs/jvafaqs.htm#Q11 http://www.dol.gov/vets/contractor/main.htm#37 If you would like to learn about how AJE can help your business comply with OFCCP’s mandatory job listing requirements or if you have any other questions or comments please email me: aklapman@americasjobexchange.com.
