The US Labor Department’s New Tool

Last month, the United States Department of Labor unveiled a new tool, the online Disability Nondiscrimination Law Advisor, which will help employers quickly and easily determine their responsibilities under the federal disability nondiscrimination laws that apply to their business. This online tool asks users to answer a few relevant questions about variables such as the size of their organization and whether they receive federal financial assistance. Based on these responses, the advisor generates a customized list of federal disability nondiscrimination laws that would apply, as well as information about employers’ responsibilities under them.
